Exchange with the École des Arts Décoratifs Paris

Recently, I had the pleasure of supporting and advising students from the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris during a Zoom call for their project. The project involved the development of headwear and accessories, a topic that uniquely combines function and design.

As part of an introduction to hat-making, I was able to share my experience and provide inspiration for the students' own design work. The focus was on questions regarding requirements, design, and the conscious choice of material, color, texture, and form.

It was a wonderful exchange that brought me much joy. It was inspiring to see how dedicated and creative their work is. I look forward to seeing the final designs.
