Art and Interior

Fiona Bennett is an interdisciplinary artist who, alongside her hat collections and work in costume and fashion, develops sculptural and conceptual art projects. A key focus is the interdisciplinary series "Talking Hats" (2023/24), exhibited at venues such as the Humboldt Forum in Berlin and the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. Earlier sculptural works, such as "Nosedive" (2016–2018), have been shown at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam and the VON BARTHA gallery in Zurich, among others. From 2014 to 2017, she realized the interior design project "FLUSH" for the Wintergarten Varieté. Her biography, *Vom Locken der Federn*, was published in 2013. Since 2020, she has been a regular presence at the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair (at the intersection of art and fashion) during Berlin Art Week, and she curated the "Fashion Positions" program from 2022 to 2024. Projects such as "TWO SOULS ONE HAT" (2023) and "SURVIVAL HATS" (2025) expand her conceptual practice. In 2024, she created a large-scale sculptural work during a residency in Kenya. She also continues to develop hat collections on a regular basis.
